Homelessness is a major problem in the Bay Area. Cities such as Oakland have instituted temporary shelters for underhoused people. These sites can provide some shelter and stability. In some locations there is access to social worker and health care services. We propose a mobile foot care clinic to provide care to a population that may otherwise be unable to access the services. The clinic can also serve as a bridge to other health care services. A long-term goal is to engage community members to participate in the clinic board and help direct future planning.
