The completion of this essay, has given me substantial knowledge on this topic and has prepared me for future experiences in my classroom. The understanding of this topic acts as a foundation to solutions that will need to be made in my years as an educator.
Self-Evaluation – Researching this topic gave me great insight on future students that I may have in my classroom with a visual impairment. The evidence that I have found regarding this topic has strengthened my understanding tremendously. So often, we only hear about individuals who need glasses due to being nearsighted or farsighted. However, when digging deeper, I have come to find that there are so many other given situations that fall under visual impairments. Having the experience of this paper has also helped me to strengthen my understanding of teaching diverse students.
