1. This artifact consists of a series of important web pages that serve as an informational guide to my classroom. Included in this helpful tool are sources that demonstrate the classroom rules, expectations, rewards, consequences, jobs, procedures, instructional style strategies, diversity the classroom diagram, and a list of ways to help motivate students. This source was produced to help parents and students stay informed on how the classroom will operate.
2. The importance of this artifact is to help myself prepare for my career as a teacher and to understand how my classroom structure can be implemented. This website shows evidence of understanding to this standard, because the creation of this artifact helped me to reflect and build ideas based on how a safe learning environment will be demonstrated. It also demonstrates the ways in which the students will show a mutual respect towards one another and build on their self-motivation. The creation of this site brings a great deal of progress towards meeting the standard due to all of the essential aspects that were thought about and presented. These key elements that are described in the artifact, help others to understand the performance management indications that will be implemented in my classroom one day.
3. The completion of this artifact had taught me many things as a teacher candidate. This artifact taught me that the way the classroom is run needs to be carefully throughout. It also became apparent to me that during my experience, I will find procedures that I have planned may not work and what can work better. As a teacher, I will always be learning what works best for my students and classroom operations.
