Makey Makey allows people to turn everyday objects into keys and use them with their computer.
The default keys are the arrow keys, the space bar, and left click. They can be remapped using the website. Example use of Makey Makey:

Students constructed and coded sensor plates to time the momentum along with the actual lab itself!
Physics carts
Conservation of momentum lab. One cart is spring loaded and push the two carts away. If they have the same mass they should travel the same distance in the same time. So the idea is to get them to hit opposing touchpads as close to the same time as possible
If one has more mass, the kids play with the distances until the carts hit the opposite touchpads simultaneously. Hopefully seeing that the heavier cart travels less distance than the lighter cart
