Objective

The objective is to assist to the basic hygiene practices and the consumption of safe water in Paksong District, Champasak Province.

Technical Approach and Methodology Concern

  • Training: understanding more about Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) with the skills of the proposed staff increased, the knowledge gained will be used for project implementation.

  • Closely work with district Government counterparts in arranging CLTS pre-triggering under supervision of WSP therefore creating good relationship between project and Government sector.

  • Propose to have baseline information for the target villages (conducting simplified baseline survey).

  • Detailed action planning with district authority.

  • Establishing project management team at district level, comprising LBA staff, representative of District authority and representative Nam Saat at the district level.

  • Establish project management team at village level, comprising LBA staff, and village authority.

  • Prepare all materials necessary for CLTS triggering preparation.

  • Inform villages about the CLTS triggering, conduct triggering, M&E triggering.
