The Language and Cognition Lab, housed within the Department of Cognitive Science at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, explores fundamental questions about the human mind from a cognitive psychology perspective.

 Our research interests include the laterality of cognitive functions, group processes and inter-group relations, attention, perception, visual word recognition, bilingualism, and corpus linguistics. 

Dr. Ark Verma is the principal investigator of the lab.
