Spearheaded by the incomparable Ami Vincent, the Bookmarked Literary Arts Festival is in its third year. With readers and writers from all over the state, this event offers opportunities to connect with storytellers and share your writing.
The 2022 Keynote Speaker is Percival Everett
Sarah Reilley was born and raised in Lander, Wyoming. With deep roots and a love of the Wind River Mountains, she returned home years ago to raise her family and write her books. She has an eclectic style, writing in many different genres and styles. Her debut book "Chasing Claire" was released in 2020, and quickly followed by "The Internship" that same year.
She has since released several more books, including childrens' books and a collection of poetry and short stories. She writes for Kindle Vella serialized stories as well, and will soon venture into songwriting with some of our other Lander Creative Arts Club members!

Lander Poetry Slam Community Information
Poetry slam is a fun, high energy, artistic competition. It is also an environment that invites people who are often members of marginalized, minority communities that have experienced difficult things to share their authentic selves–even if those stories are hard to hear–in a way that becomes art. Art is political. Art is healing. Art can cut you to the bone.
We don’t want anyone to walk away from a poetry slam feeling hurt. It is the responsibility of the organizers and/or host, performers, judges, and audience members to create a community focused space that treats everyone with respect and dignity. However, at the end of the day, it remains a competition, and scores will be awarded. Because of this, we want to discuss the ways in which we can act to help each other and ourselves.
