ORIGIN STORY: The rise from C.R.A.P.

A long time ago at the Elks Lodge not really that far away, destiny brought Chris, Raine and Adam together. Forged in the fires of covers of "Elvira" and "King of the Road" this merry band of misfits formed the sometimes musical ensemble which they referred to simply as "The Chris, Raine, Adam Project" or C.R.A.P. for short. Gigs at the Lander Elks Lodge became so fun that they began to seek other venues to play and were forced to admit that they had inadvertently started another band. Our three heroes knew that no self-respecting venue would book a band called CRAP and so the name Nightfire was born, inspired by late-night, whiskey-fueled jam sessions in Tensleep during the 2021 Wyoming Singer Songwriter festival. Soon after, the remarkable Mr. Jason Kinney joined to play bass, followed by the amazing Feike Van Dijk on percussion, then the ever awesome Sean Francis to fill in on bass, and we are now excited to welcome the incredible Micah Wyatt on baritone ukulele.
