A View From Lisselty.

This video was filmed from the house where Mary Power Lisselty, the president of the Carbally branch of the Ladies’ Land League, once resided. From this vantage point, you can observe Tramore, the back strand, and Waterford airport, situated across the road from where the Morrissey eviction unfolded in 1881. Additionally, you can identify the former residence of Lord Fortescue and the locale where the Carbally Ladies Land League conducted their meetings. The panoramic views from this spot are breath-taking, undoubtedly serving as inspiration for the women who courageously advocated for the rights of tenant farmers.
