Chlorophyll a

Chlorophyll a is the primary green pigment used by algae and cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) for photosynthesis; its concentration is a key measure of algal biomass and nutrient enrichment.

E Coli

NDWEE Std is the limit recommended by the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment. Samples are collected at 3 locations on the lake monthly in the summer and reported back at the end of the year by Nebraska Lake Management. Plotted is the average of the three locations around the lake.
