Scheduling note: Tuesday afternoons, Thursday mornings
Projects Splits are on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are offered in longer blocks than regular classes.
On Tuesdays, the afternoons are split into two 70- minute blocks (1st and 2nd Split, in place of sixth, seventh, and eighth periods).
On Thursdays, the mornings are split into two 90-minute blocks (1st and 2nd Split, in place of first, second, third, and fourth periods).
There are three different categories: academics, enrichment (knitting, drama, etc.), and active (badminton, gaga ball, etc.). They are also an opportunity for teachers to schedule labs, mainly for science classes. For example, there are labs for Chemistry, Astronomy, and Geology. They also function as a time for students to gain community service credit and get academic help.
