Some Family Groups focus on a specific topic of interest, such as baking. Some focus on planning, preparing, and fundraising for a specific Spring Trip. Some are more general in nature; the group works together to determine how to spend this time. Family Group Leader styles vary; no two Family Groups are the same.
Family Groups provide opportunities for students to build social connections. You should expect to hear from your Family Group Leader about Family Group-specific events like fundraisers, potlucks, etc. Families meet with Family Group Leaders for Mid-Year Conferences to review student’s evaluations and revisit and discuss the goals that were set at the beginning of the year.
