The LACH Lab strives to create an equitable and inclusive community in which all members are welcome, heard, and treated with respect.
Equity is identifying and intentionally addressing structural racism, ableism, systemic poverty, and marginalization based on attitudes around disability, sexism, sexualism, cissexism, religion, language status, migrant status, or generational status, upholding the expectation that all members of the university community act as anti-racist and anti-ableist institutional change agents to remove and reduce barriers that negatively impact institutional success within structures, policies and practices and ensuring that students, faculty, staff, and administrators receive targeted resources and supports to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.
