Prof. Shu-Tong Chang was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan, 1972. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University in 2003. He was with the department of Electrical Engineering, National Chung-Hsing University since 2005. He joined the department of Electrical Engineering, National Chung-Hsing University as an associate professor since 2008. In 2011, he became a full professor. He was a consulter for Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan from 2001 to 2005. He is helping the industry find an extremely low-cost solution of strained semiconductor technology and develop computer codes for the simulation of novel electron devices. Based on his research work, he received the 2012 NCHU outstanding young teacher award.
