Annie Bea is a plainclothes worker who acts as a customer in an antique store to ensure customers aren't stealing. She sets her eye on a ring bearing the message "I will always be with you" and wonders about its history. This work went on to inspire the short story I Will Always Be With You (2024) a few months later.
