Join the Language & Accessibility in Alert & Warning Workgroup (LAAWW) for the virtual Multilingual Alerting Summit on May 14, 2026 from 8:30am-2pm Pacific (11:30am-5pm Eastern).
We will discuss the use of various emergency alerting software systems to send multilingual alerts. The opening session includes a presentation about multilingual alerts in action. Next, we will offer individual breakout groups by software type. System users will discuss the pros and cons of various methods for issuing multilingual alerts. We will gather lessons learned, feedback about the software, and questions about/ideas for product features.
