Kyle De Guzman is an aspiring animator and illustrator based in Laguna, Philippines. She has worked on several animation projects, including a fan music video for Zild’s “Medisina” and personal studies of animation fundamentals. As for her illustrations, she handles a diverse set of mediums like oil pastel, gouache, watercolor, acrylic, ink, and graphite. Her art also has a semi-realistic aesthetic; characters are defined by lines of varying thickness, and shading is combined with interesting textures that give her pieces a chaotic feel. Although Kyle already has decent experience as a traditional artist, she aims to improve by mastering art fundamentals, developing a unique style, practicing effective communication, and enhancing her skills in the digital medium.

Professionally, Kyle De Guzman is a person who is willing to explore cities within and outside the Philippines. She doesn’t mind working 8-hour shifts, as long as she gets weekend rest days. Despite being flexible on location and working hours, she is rigid when it comes to compensation and personal value especially if she’d been working for a company for many years.

As an avid player of Genshin Impact, Kyle dreams of working for Hoyoverse, the studio that designed and distributed the game. It has over 4000 employees across the world and is a million-dollar game company as of 2022. Even though there is no Hoyoverse studio in the Philippines, they offer remote roles for artists who may want to apply. They also have branches in South Korea and Japan, which are countries that Kyle is willing to move to.
