Wednesday, 8 August

3 – 5p: Check-in hotel

7p: Dinner: Lava Lava Beach Club (at the front of Kauai Shores Hotel)


Thursday, 9 August

8 – 9a: Breakfast: Passion Bakery Cafe (0.4 miles from Kauai Shores Hotel)

10a - noon: Sugarloaf Pineapple Tour - see over 350,000 Kauai Sugarloaf White pineapple plants, sweeter and less acidic as regular pineapple. You will be shown how to plant, grow, and harvest pineapples, and taste them! Tour concludes with all you can eat, Paulie's Pineapple Phrostie, a frozen delight made from only 100% Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple that tastes like soft serve ice cream! (Hole in the Mountain Farm, Moloaa, 8.5 miles north of Kauai Shores Hotel). On a space available basis.

$65 per person, $40 child (5 - 12), free for children 4 and under

1:30 Lunch: Chicken in a Barrel, Hanalei

2:30 - 7:00p: Free time

8p: Dinner: Oasis on the Beach (1.6 miles north of Kauai Shores Hotel)


Friday, 10 August

(for those at Kauai Shores Hotel, meet at lobby at 6:45am)

8a – 1p: Na Pali Coast Kauai Snorkel and Sail Tour - For true trade wind sailing on Kauai join us aboard Leila, a beautiful 50' sailing catamaran. Nobody sails more, and it’s not uncommon to attain speeds up to 18 knots (about 20mph)! Includes continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Leaves from Port Allen (24 miles from Kauai Shores Hotel)

1p: meet at Port Allen for driving tour

Waimea Canyon Tour (on-our-own driving tour)

- Town of Waimea – stop at Ishihara Market to pick up snacks (great poke!) for Waimea Canyon

- Kalalau Valley Lookout – beautiful view of the valley

- Waimea Canyon – known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific

- Hanapepe Valley Lookout – a picturesque view of the lush tropical valley that was once a Hawaiian taro farming community with some of the patches still being farmed today

- Spouting Horn – one of the most photographed spots on Kauai with ocean water spraying like a geyser up to 50 feet in the air

- Old Koloa Town – holds the rich history of Hawaii’s sugar plantation days

- Tunnel of Trees – a picturesque and shaded road with eucalyptus-lined trees

Saturday, 11 August

7 – 8:30a: Breakfast: on your own

9 – 11:30a: Kauai Path Hike - beautiful path for self-guided walk, run, or bike ride along Kauai eastern coast near Kauai Shores Hotel to town of Kapaa.

12pm: Hotel check-out and goodbyes! Thanks for joining us for this additional Kwan time!
