I am a PhD student in Mathematics at Colorado State University advised by Emily J. King (CSU Math Department) and Imme Ebert-Uphoff (Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere). My research uses mathematical methods to analyze weather satellite data to aid in weather prediction. I received a BS in Economics and BA in Scandinavian Studies from the University of Washington and an MS in Mathematics from Colorado State University. Before graduate school, I taught high school math with the U.S. Peace Corps in Lesotho, Southern Africa.
My email is kristina.moen at colostate.edu.
