I have a deep interest in singing, which I have developed through continuous learning and cultural exposure. I learned singing through culture, society, and the nation, which helped me understand music as a reflection of tradition and identity. I enjoy singing various forms such as folk songs, sugam songs, and bhajans, which connect me closely to my cultural roots.
During my higher education, I learned the basic techniques of singing and how to properly render a song. Later, I improved my ability to sing in a smooth and consistent flow, developing better voice control and confidence. After graduation, I focused on the expressive aspects of singing, understanding how emotion and feeling enhance musical performance. I also gained knowledge of essential musical elements such as taal (rhythm), lay (tempo), and svar (notes).
I particularly enjoy singing devotional bhajans such as “મેરુ તો ડગે પણ જેના…”, “મેલી ચાદર ઓઢકે કેવી રીતે…”, and “વજન કરે તે હારે રે મનવા…”, which allow me to express spiritual emotion and inner peace through music.
This journey has helped me cultivate my voice, deepen my musical understanding, and express emotions effectively through singing.
