Bathroom count is a starting guide, not a final sizing calculation. Private well water may need testing and additional or different treatment. Treatment depends on your water conditions.
Does Harbor remove chlorine?
Harbor’s water softener targets hardness. Whole-house carbon filtration is a separate recommended addition when chlorine taste or odor is a concern.
Will it remove existing white crust?
Softening helps prevent new hardness-related buildup. Existing scale or etched glass may need separate cleaning or attention.
