Owner-Operated. Licensed. Built on Experience.
Kraken Water Systems is owned and operated by Steve Habercom, a California C-36 Plumbing Contractor with more than 16 years of water-treatment experience.
Before starting Kraken, Steve spent years working hands-on with water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, whole-house carbon filtration, commercial water treatment, tankless water heaters, custom plumbing, and specialty systems. That experience matters because water treatment is not just about dropping equipment into a garage—it is about understanding water conditions, flow, plumbing, installation details, serviceability, and what will actually make sense for the customer.
Kraken is built for homeowners who want someone to explain the options clearly, do the work right, and still be there when the system needs service down the road.

Kraken Water Systems provides professional installation, service, repair, and replacement for:
Every recommendation starts with the actual problem you are trying to solve. Some homes need a complete treatment system. Others need a repair, maintenance service, or a simple drinking-water solution. If a system does not make sense for your home, we will tell you that too.
A water-treatment system should not look like an afterthought.
Kraken focuses on clean, serviceable installations with proper plumbing, accessible shutoffs, well-planned bypasses, equipment that is sized correctly, and layouts that can be maintained without turning your garage or utility room into a headache later.
The goal is not only better water today. It is a system that performs reliably, protects your home, and can be serviced correctly for years.
