[About the Role]
Responsible, under minimal supervision, for providing technical analysis of mobile devices launched in North America, especially for cases of product liability. Assists in the concept, development, preparation and critical review of technical reports, documents, test procedures, user guides, and maintenance manuals.
Perform daily failure analysis of mobile devices related to product liability claims and safety, utilizing analytical equipment such as X-Ray/CT machine, digital microscope and overheating test equipment.
Identify potential improvements to product design as well as repair serviceability constraints during reverse engineering analysis.
Provide detailed analysis and reports to R&D based on findings; collaborate with engineering team to improve next generation repair productivity and product performance.
Communicate with related management team to investigate user environment causing defective symptoms; interface with Product Management to deliver product condition and specifications.
Share improvements and experiences in product troubleshooting, failure analysis, diagnostics and repair techniques with repair technician team members and supervisors.
Perform electronics testing using relevant technologies (X-Ray, CT, SEM, EDS).
Perform scene and laboratory inspections outside the office.

[Required Qualifications]
English/Korean bilingual preferred.
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or Analytics.
At least 3 years' experience with selection, maintenance and application of electronic and test equipment (X-Ray, CT, Digital microscope) preferred.
Prior experience in the mobile industry preferred.
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize in a complex working environment.
Comprehensive use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources; prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables.
Ability to read, provide written critical technical review, and prepare reports, technical manuals, and test procedures.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems involving highly diverse conditions.

Job Type & Pay Range :
$70,000 - $75,000 Max (Annual)
