Herrmansdorfer Farm

Where does our food come from? When visiting the farm I felt very comfortable about the whole process of the animals at the farm. In my thinking, the animals are treated very well all the way up to the time of being slaughtered. They are kept in well-cleaned areas, open spaces, and kept apart from animals that might not get along best with size factors. This experience was good to see that Germany does care about the way their produce is treated and how humane the entire experience was. I thought it was very interesting that the animals were not allowed to be transported with other animals they were not familiar with. I think the U.S. could integrate all of the ideas that Germany does because the animals are not treated poorly and not produced in mass sizes which is inhumane. I think Germany has a great system for their farm fresh produce.
