Before I became the owner of Klassic Kay Events, I was a bride trying to navigate the excitement—and overwhelm—of planning my own wedding.
Two years before my wedding, I lost my mother after a long-term illness. With my sister still young and a smaller support system than I had once imagined having during such an important season of my life, wedding planning often felt stressful and overwhelming.
Everything changed when I hired my wedding coordinator.
She stepped in with the knowledge, support, and attention to detail I didn't even realize I needed. She thought of things I had no idea were part of the wedding planning process and helped make an overwhelming experience feel manageable. What began as a professional relationship grew into a genuine friendship, and we're still friends to this day.
That experience stayed with me.
I've also always loved celebrating life's important moments. In my family, we celebrate everything—the big milestones, the little wins, and all the reasons to gather in between. Klassic Kay Events became a way for me to combine that love of celebration with the things that come naturally to me: helping others with compassion, creating personalized experiences, bringing ideas to life, and making stressful situations feel a little easier.
Because when you're celebrating one of life's most meaningful moments, you shouldn't have to spend it overwhelmed by everything happening behind the scenes.
