Christmas Cakes, Cookies and Truffles
Each year, our Kiwanis Club sells Christmas Cakes, Shortbread Cookies & Truffles to raise funds that will be used to support our various community initiatives. The Christmas Cakes and Truffles are made in Canada, and the Shortbread are imported from Scotland.
We are scheduled to sell our Christmas goodies at local Christmas Markets and Senior's Residences from mid-November to early-December. Please consult our Calendar to find out exactly where and when we are selling.
Santa Claus Parade of Lights
The Kiwanis Parade of Lights kicks off Christmas in the Village on
Nov 28th starting at 7:00 pm to the delight of everyone that attends. Entries include marching bands, dance school groups, decorated floats, festive music and of course the star of the show, Santa Claus.
The parade starts at the Manotick Community Centre, travels down Maple Ave to Manotick Main St, then goes south through the village to Eastman Ave. The streets are lined with people of all ages where the children try to find the best spot to catch a glimpse of Ole Saint Nick!!
If you or your business want to participate in the parade, there is no cost to do so. Simply complete and submit the Kiwanis Parade of Lights Registration Form.
Christmas Trees
The Kiwanis Christmas Tree lot is located next to the Manotick Home Hardware Store in the Manotick Mews and will be open each Tuesday through Sunday beginning on Saturday, Nov 29th. Please note that we are closed on Mondays.

All trees are Canadian grown at Somerville Nurseries Inc, Everett, Ontario
