The Kiwanis Club of Manotick is one of 30+ charities and non-profit organizations that are members of the Bingoland Gaming Charities Association. In return for providing volunteers each Tuesday afternoon, our club receives a share of the revenue raised that day from the games played by Bingoland customers. Volunteers greet customers, assist staff during games as well as keep the gaming area clean and tidy.
Each year, starting in late November, the Manotick Home Hardware Garden Centre is transformed into the Kiwanis Christmas Trees Lot. Hundreds of trees, ranging in size from 5ft to 12+ft, are brought in from central Ontario each year and are sold to raise money for the Kiwanis important work. Kiwanis volunteers joyfully help customers choose the perfect Christmas tree and secure it to their vehicle while the children are offered candy canes.

Our club volunteers sell Christmas Cakes, Cookies and Chocolate Truffles at local seniors homes and Christmas Markets each year. Not only is this an important fundraiser for Kiwanis, but it also provides a service to seniors who like to buy these items as holiday gifts but cannot always get out in the winter weather.
The money raised from these two Christmas fundraisers provides Kiwanis with the greatest flexibility for use of funds within the community.

The Kiwanis Club of Manotick, along with Kiwanis Clubs throughout Ontario, are proud to partner with Staples for their annual Kiwanis-Staples School Supply Drive from July into September every year. As part of their community support program, Staples will ask their customers upon check-out if they would like to donate to Kiwanis Back-to-School Programs helping kids in need. At the end of the campaign, each Staples store channels the donations back to a local Kiwanis club to be used to help kids in need in their community.
The Kiwanis Club of Manotick is fortunate to have partnerships with the Staples stores in Barrhaven and Kemptville. In Barrhaven, our Kiwanis Club donated additional money to what was collected at the local Staples store to purchase 20 Chromebooks for students in need at local high schools. In Kemptville, our club gives the gift cards directly to the Salvation Army in Kemptville and they purchase the supplies at the Staples store.
