In Fifth Grade Band we are continuing to expand on instrumental technique and knowledge in striving for mastery of musical concepts.

Students will develop fundamental skills with Essential Elements Book One and Habits of a Successful Middle School Musician. They will also have the opportunity to interact with Grade 0.5-1.5 concert band music.

There will be opportunities for students to showcase their abilities in perform as a soloist and with others.

Students will participate in Pass Offs, where they will perform a variety of pieces to demonstrate mastery. The more Pass Offs completed, the further the student will progress in their book.
