Kiri Goldsmith is my name! and I come with over 20 years solid experience in Law, Customer Service, Administration, Accounts, Company Directorship, Customer Service, operating machinery at Mainfreight, Marketing... oh and there's motherhood... being an aunty and a nanny!
I was born and bred in Takapuna, North Shore, Auckland by two adoptive parents and I have a brother. Today, I have 3 children from the self-righteous age of 21, to the complaining 6 year old, ending with the favourite of the bunch, the 3 year old, 'gets anything she desires' child.
Together, we moved from the confinement of St Heliers, Auckland down to this wonderful land of opportunities called Ngaruawahia, Waikato.
In short, my knowledge and experience stems from being unemployed, walking off the street asking for a job at a small law firm called Westbrookes, to becoming a Legal Secretary, gaining my New Zealand Legal Executives Diploma and then, a Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. I also have extensive experience in company directorship of a registered construction company which involves maintaining accounts, employment and public relations.
I like people. I always have. It's rewarding to develop and work alongside people from all walks of life. To me, relationships with people are seriously important! If we are not feeding people with knowledge and understanding, then we cannot positively contribute to growing a society.
I am always meeting new people. Whether it's through online networks or just getting out and about. No matter what or where, there is always somebody interesting to talk to and get to know.
