The Ruborian national flag is a horizontal tri-color of black (determination), white (purity and Christianity), and green (nature).Â
The central crown represents the monarchy, and the three stars above it the original three leaders of the Leaf Fort, the micronation that Ruboria directly succeeds.
The flag of the Leaf Fort, Ruboria's predecessor from 2013, is recognized as an important national symbol and is treated with respect.
The orange represents the fall colors that gave the fort life, a point reinforced by the presence of the oak leaf.
The eastern cougar is Ruboria's national animal.
Thought to be extinct, there are many who hold the belief that the animal still roams eastern North America. The king happens to be one of those individuals. The cougar represents strength, and our recognition of it also showcases our affinity for conservation.
The intermediate wood fern can be found in abundance in Ruboria, and is recognized as the official plant.
It shares the kingdom's signature green color, and also represents longevity through the age of ferns as a species, as well as tranquility.
The national emblem of Ruboria replaced the national coat of arms in August 2024.
The emblem features a wheat wreath to represent farming, the Ruborian banner and crown to represent the nation and monarchy respectively, two rampant pumas for the national animal, two pine trees for nature, and a ruby gem stone. Since Ruboria was founded in July, the ruby is the nation's birthstone.
