Judging

There has been all sorts of ideas on what is proper judging and what to look for and how to assess each image. Bob Dachelet of the Minneapolis Photographic Society has written two white papers on the subject: Camera Club Judging and Competition Judging Bullets.

Gene Davis’s 2017 presentation to our club Guidelines and Suggestions for Judging Photographic Images is now available to view. Please note that Gene Davis is the author of this information and he should be identified as such whenever this information is used.

Labels for Prints

Each print you submit must have the following attached to the back:

• A label with your name, address, image name, and identify KCCC as the club. Download a template.
• A competition label. Download a template. (PDF)
• It is highly suggested you protect your image with a clear bag. The bag should have a label with your name and address. You can use the print label above removing the "Top of Photo" and "image Name" fields, or use your own label.
