What colour is your idea?

Colours communicate in ways that words just can't. This is very very hard to explain, and that's the whole point.

Ask yourself: Can you describe what a colour looks like to a person born blind?

The emotional power of colour can greatly affect the way your design is perceived by the viewer.

Pantone is a standardized colour coding and reference so that designers and printers can more effectively communicate with one another.

It was created by a printer named Lawrence Herbert in 1963.

Each colour is assigned an official name and/or number.
