Dr. Tammy Clementi has served students, teachers and administrators since 1987. She served as a classroom teacher, an instructional coach, a building level administrator, Director of Elementary Education, Director of Student Achievement, Chief Academic Officer in two large urban districts, and an interim superintendent in one of the lowest performing school districts in the state of Colorado. Dr. Clementi also served as a turnaround manager for the Colorado Department of Education where she worked with the lowest performing schools and districts across the state of Colorado. Dr. Clementi most recently served as a National Director of Academic Planning for a large publishing company. She worked closely with districts across the country in their efforts to close the achievement gap and accelerate learning for all students. Dr. Clementi earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Colorado State University, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Lesley College and a Doctor of Philosophy in educational administration from Denver University.
Dr. Clementi has been recognized at the district, state, and national level for her teaching excellence.

Dr. Clementi provides professional learning to many schools and school districts both at the state and national level. She works with classroom teachers, building level administrators, and district level administration to ensure research-based instructional strategies and pedagogy are "constants" in classrooms and the “instructional norms” are practiced and executed school wide. She also works closely with building and district level administrators to provide direction and focus on systemic reform efforts geared towards substantially increasing student achievement. Schools and school districts that have utilized Dr. Clementi's services continue to call upon her year after year.

Dr. Clementi has also worked closely with the Colorado Department of Education in the development of the reading and writing assessment. These specifics help teachers and administrators understand where the instructional focus should be.
