An exceptional MLK Day warmed by community members stepping up to beautify our neighborhoods by cleaning up the litter. Ages 5 & up, we all braved the cold weather to team up and serve together on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Environmental stewardship is always a priority as we only have this one amazing house! Hosted by ♡The Destiny World Church we were full of volunteers from:

Our teamwork removed 81 bags of litter from Riverside Pkwy, Factory Shoals Road, South Gordon Road and Lansky Werber Road.
We're really proud of all who came together and worked to clean the Austell area. Thanks for your GREAT WORK VOLUNTEERS! And THANK YOU to our community partners!
Making 150 Smiles for senior citizens!
Amazing cards full of love created by Tapp Middle School Tigers for local seniors at Sterling Estates of West Cobb to enjoy on Valentine's day.
Thanks to our partners, Communities In Schools of Georgia in Marietta/Cobb County, Inc. & the Avid Program, for participating in KIDS CARE's Kindness Card Program. So proud of these kids Kindness!
On Feb. 14th our volunteers served with the Marietta Tree Keepers to plant 40 trees at the City of Marietta’s newest park renovation, Ceminsky Park!
In partnership with Marietta Parks & Rec, and supported by Marietta City Councilwoman Cheryl Richardson, this community effort led by the Marietta Tree Keepers is sure to have long lasting effects on this local park. City of Marietta, Ga., Government
From providing shade and soil security to offering wildlife refuge and pure beauty, these 40 Trees have definitely transformed this adorable space. We look forward to watching them grow!!

Feb 16, 2026. Youth Service Ideas (brainstormed & organized by our youth volunteers):
Animals = Create adoption ads for nonprofits, help bring in stray cats, make toys for cats, organize blanket & food drives for animals, volunteer at McKenna Farms, assist Cobb County Animal Shelter, and help disabled animals.
Community General = Sports equipment drive, help out at daycare, no-sew blankets, learn ASL & use it.
Disabled = Play/teach soccer, be friends, and help them with what they need.
Environmental = Trail cleaning & maintenance, cleaning school playgrounds & community complexes, more tree planting, yard maintenance for those who need assistance, and more litter cleanups.
First Responders = Pen pals program, host an event at a restaurant, surprise kindness, actors in active shooter training, help with smoke alarms, kindness cards.
Fundraisers = water park events, waffles, a fun day & raffle, and ice cream at the park.
Homeless = Cookout for the homeless, souper bowl food drive, build shelters, car wash to raise funds and buy tents & food, care baskets for homeless mothers on Mother's Day.
Mental Health = Be a friend to those in the hospital (patient visits, rehab visits, playing music or games with patients), suicide prevention, pen pals with first responders, and kindness cards.
Seniors = Pen pals, play games, just hang out.
Veterans = Welcome home cards, tavern day, free dinner, necklaces, bracelets, Kindness cards, collecting needed donations for disabled vets

So proud of these kids - look at how much of the community they thought about! These kiddo's also created 25 Kindness Cards for senior citizens!
We had a wonderful time engaging kids to express their gratitude for 9-1-1 Dispatchers this past Saturday.
Our local community Created 90 Kindness Cards for Cobb County 911 Dispatchers! Can't wait to pass along their Love at our 4/13/26 Sidewalk Chalk coloring appreciation day. (See event page if interested in participating).
Kindness Cards were created at The Avenue West Cobb Spring Fest. Special thanks to our friends at Altar'D State for welcoming us.
