KIDS CARE was born with a homeschool assignment - to choose a word and make an acrostic poem out of it.  Jaida choose "KIDS" and said she "just wanted to get a group of kids together to do nice things for people the way kids want to do it".  And so we have.

The very 1st service Jaida wanted to do was a book drive to get books people didn't want anymore to people who could use them.  With Jaida's determination, hard work and help from friends we collected and donated 1,116 books locally. This was our first service and we were not a nonprofit yet.  

Books were donated to: Vietnam Veterans of America, M.U.S.T. Ministries, The Center for Children and Young Adults and Books for Africa.
