Next Booster Meeting November 20th
What to Expect
Our swim team is non-elimination – if you come to practice, work hard, and show commitment, you’re on the team!
At the beginning of the season (around the 10th practice / 2-week mark), we’ll host a Scrimmage during a regular practice time. This is a fun, low-pressure “mock meet” that helps swimmers learn how meets run and gives coaches times to place swimmers at the JV or Varsity level for the first meet.
👉 We cheer for everyone — it’s about effort and learning, not winning.
⚠️ Note: Placement at JV or Varsity may change meet-to-meet depending on individual performance and the overall needs of the team.
Scrimmage Guide
Participation: Every swimmer competes in at least 4 races total
2 Individual “Choice” events
Both Relays (200 Medley Relay & 200 Free Relay)
Optional: 1 Coach’s Choice event
Format: Races are mixed (men & women together)
⚠️ We need timers! Meets can’t run without them. This is a perfect chance for new parents to learn — no experience needed.
