Mental Well-Being is the health of the mind. Some students may experience abnormal conditions of the mind due to numerous reasons.
As time passes, more and more individuals have been found to have less than healthy mental well-being. The reported unhappiness of the general public is on the rise, Mental illness rates are also up. Students can find themselves in situations outside of the class that can lead to a variety of conditions such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder, drug addiction, and more. One does not need to have a clinical mental illness to have poor mental well-being too. More mainstream states of mind such as grief can be categorized as not being well mentally. Heightened levels of stress can also fall under the category of not optimal states of well-being.
