For those on a low-carb or keto diet, there is always something to eat at every restaurant or fast food restaurant. Plan ahead. Before entering the restaurant, check their menu and nutrition information online at home or using your smartphone. It's always a good idea to know which options are safe before you tempt you with menu items that you shouldn't eat on a low-carb diet. Here is the link to it
In order to make it easier to find a quick keto-friendly option, I have compiled a list of several restaurants and fast food venues, and the items I found are the fewest (and most emotionally satisfying) carb options. These aren't all perfect options, but when you don't find other options due to time or location constraints, they will do in a pinch.
It's a big help that fast food places are required to post food content. Following the keto plan every day gets easier. The number of carbs I'm listed is approximate and it's net gram.
In general, there are usually some power options anywhere you are. At burger joints, you only need to remove the bun, and many places offer lettuce rolls instead. Chicken should not be rotted.
As a side note, it's helpful to have a knife and fork in your car or purse. A large, juicy burger ends up in little bits of lettuce on the table - or in your lap. And small, fragile plastic utensils for fast food also make eating difficult. Pull out your strong pots and have fun!

McDonald's - Choose any burger (no grams) or roast chicken (2 grams) without bread and topped with cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, onions, etc. Without ketchup. Add a side salad (3g). Caesar salad with grilled chicken or ranch salad with grilled chicken 9 grams.
Burger King - Same information as a McDonald's burger: burger (0 grams) without bread and topped with cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, onions, etc. Without ketchup. Chicken Tender Grill Sandwich Without Bread 3 Grams. Beware - you might think the veggie burger is low, but it does contain 19 grams of carbs, so that means a full day of carbs on the keto diet. Add a side salad (3g). Tender grill chicken salad 8 gm without dressing or toasted bread. Tender Crisp Chicken Salad is not an option. Do not try to.
Bonus - candy!?! Fresh apple potatoes are not fried and are 5 grams of net carbs without caramel sauce.
Subway - Maybe you should skip the subway if you can. Cakes and wraps are all rich in carbohydrates. I guess you can just get them to throw the ingredients into a wrap without a bun, but that doesn't look appealing. I don't have any information on how many carbohydrates are per bun without baking, but you probably can tell - chicken or pepperoni is fine, but is "sweet onion" chicken good? No idea. Stick to the salads, but realize that you will only get iceberg lettuce (4 g).
Carl's Junior and Hardees - This chain offers "lettuce wraps" - a burger wrapped in a large chunk of lettuce for an easy, low-carb meal. (Like I said, I tried it and I don't like it. I like to carry my fork instead.) Baking Options - Six Dollar Burger (7g), 1/2 Thick Burger (5g), Club Roast Chicken Sandwich (7g / 10 Jim from Hardee's). Grilled chicken salad without croutons 10 grams. Side salad 3 grams.
Jimmy John's - The Unwich - a sandwich wrapped in lettuce - fits the bill here. Meat is good, just make sure the ingredients are not rich in carbohydrates.
Wendy's - Again, you can have your burger in a lettuce wrapper or box. Any burger with toppings. Mayonnaise contains corn syrup, which is 1 gram. Grilled chicken fillet 1 gram. It can be ordered as a Chicken Club sandwich or a Chicken Grill sandwich. Best Salads: Chicken Caesar (7 grams), Grilled Chicken Salad with Grilled Chicken. Air side salads 6 gm or 2 gm for Caesar.
Pizza Hut and other pizza places - You may get used to eating pizza without a crust. You need to eat twice the amount, but if there is a party or dinner outside you can't avoid at a pizzeria, just remove the top layer of cheese and eat the big pile of cheese and the messy toppings. A side salad is a nice addition. Other than that, choose only to make pizza at home with a low-carb crust.
Mongolian Barbecue - YES! Load up your bowl with chicken, shrimp, onion slices, and mushrooms, then top with the Asian black bean sauce. I know beans have carbs, but this sauce label says 1 gram of carbs per ounce (each sauce is plainly labeled). Add a bit of garlic and wait for the griller to do his work. It goes without saying that you skip the appetizers, tortillas, and rice. Ask the wait staff not to bring them to the table.
Italian Restaurants - These take a little cunning, but they can be conqurerd! Ideas: how about chicken Marsala in an Italian place? Make sure it doesn't come with pasta. Substitute broccoli or some other keto-friendly side dish - or a big salad. Chicken piccata is also a possibility.
Mexican and Chinese restaurants are the most difficult, because any low carb option is not the reason to go to the restaurant in the first place. At a Mexican restaurant, I tend to get a large burrito with no beans and spread the soft tortilla out like a plate. Eat the inner ingredients and toss the tortilla.
If you MUST go to a Chinese buffet (I attended a funeral dinner at one), you can find options, but they probably aren't going to be your favorite General Tso's. How about the salad bar choices? eggs? the insides of eggrolls, and I even ate the insides only of crab rangoons. Unfortunately, these ideas leave quite a pile of discarded shells and deep fried exterior pieces on your plate and makes it look like you really waste food.
Wings anywhere - Standard buffalo sauce is usually OK as well as garlic Parmesan
Convenience stores can be a good option, too! 7-11 has packs of hard boiled eggs, cheese slabs, slim jims, almonds, and pork rinds. Pork rinds come in a barbecue flavor and they're ZERO carbs.
Remember, whatever you choose, hold the bread, potatoes, rice, noodles, fries, and tortillas. And watch out for the possibility of corn starch, bread crumbs, and other fillers. With proper planning and a good attitude, you can find healthy keto and low-carb options when dining out, and stick to your successful keto diet plan. Here is the link to it
