This 4 week session is suitable for a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. You choose which level you are most comfortable with. Lots of modifications will be offered to find the right level that suits you best.
During class, we will be doing various yoga poses from standing, seated, and lying down positions. We will be holding each pose for several breathes, allowing the body to relax into each pose gently and calmly.
The pose does not become you, you become the pose!

FUSED GLASS PENDANT

The Munay Ki rites are sacred initiations from the Shamanic path of the Q'ero nation, descendants of the Inca. This class is suitable for a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. You choose which level you are most comfortable with. Lots of modifications will be offered to find the right level that suits you best.
During class, we will be doing various yoga poses from standing, seated, and lying down positions. We will be holding each pose for several breathes, allowing the body to relax into each pose gently and calmly.
The pose does not become you, you become the pose!
Please bring a yoga mat, pillow or cushion and water.

LIVING WITH RHYTHM DRUM PROGRAM

Think of how often we refer to a sense of rhythm that we experience in our lives in a figurative way. We say that we need to “slow down," or that we “skipped a beat," or that we didn’t feel like we were “in sync” or that we want to “march to the beat of our own drum!” A rhythm is controlled energy that fluctuates between action and inaction. When we create a rhythm we are creating an energy cycle. The cyclic nature of rhythm allows us to recognize what patterns are repeated in each of us and how do we change the patterns which aren’t harmonious or expend too much of my energy. Paying attention to our own inner rhythmic state and working in harmony with others literally recalibrates us. So come join Kevin and unwind, rejuvenate, centre yourself and explore rhythm literally and symbolically in an atmosphere of energy creation, sharing, and release.
