INTRODUCTION TO MEDITATION

GENTLE HATHA YOGA

Gentle Hatha Yoga is suitable for a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. You choose which level you are most comfortable with. Lots of modifications will be offered to find the right level that suits you best.
During class, we will be doing various yoga poses from standing, seated, and lying down positions. We will be holding each pose for several breathes, allowing the body to relax into each pose gently and calmly.
The pose does not become you, you become the pose!
Please bring a yoga mat, pillow or cushion and water.

A GATHERING OF WITCHES

Come all and gather as we join in sacred ritual. Are you curious about the inner witch you feel stirring within you? Do you practice solitary and occasionally crave the company of other witches? Or just enjoy the magick of the witches circle and ritual? Then we have a space for you dearest one! Let us cast the circle and call the quarters and step through the veil this night! A Gathering of Witches is an evening of magick and ritual. Join fellow practitioners of the craft in circle. Ritual wear is encouraged but not necessary to attend.
Join “The Gathering” as we enter ritual space with the Goddess Melusine – she who is the keeper of boundaries both inside and out – the mistress of the ring of power. Join as we petition her for direction and protection, to shed that which no longer services our journey.

LIVING WITH RHYTHM DRUM PROGRAM

Think of how often we refer to a sense of rhythm that we experience in our lives in a figurative way. We say that we need to “slow down," or that we “skipped a beat," or that we didn’t feel like we were “in sync” or that we want to “march to the beat of our own drum!” A rhythm is controlled energy that fluctuates between action and inaction. When we create a rhythm we are creating an energy cycle. The cyclic nature of rhythm allows us to recognize what patterns are repeated in each of us and how do we change the patterns which aren’t harmonious or expend too much of my energy. Paying attention to our own inner rhythmic state and working in harmony with others literally recalibrates us. So come join Kevin and unwind, rejuvenate, centre yourself and explore rhythm literally and symbolically in an atmosphere of energy creation, sharing, and release.

Kelley created the Witch 101 Series to bring together those of like mind and inquiring minds into space where we can have a forum to learn and to ask those questions that linger in your mind. It is a space where we can ask questions in regards to practicing as a witch, to clarify, to dispel the “….but how do I” queries, to de-mystify and have open conversations with other pagans and witches. Here questions are encouraged and nothing is too silly to ask – let us help one another move deeper into our magickal practices with confidence, courage and dedication. In this workshop we will discuss what ‘calling the quarters’ in magick means. Where the practice originated and the aspects associate with the Quarters. We will include hands on practice.
