GENTLE HATHA YOGA

This 4-week session is suitable for a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. You choose which level you are most comfortable with. Lots of modifications will be offered to find the right level that suits you best.
During class, we will be doing various yoga poses from standing, seated, and lying down positions. We will be holding each pose for several breathes, allowing the body to relax into each pose gently and calmly.

Certification course for traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Shoden (Level 1). Includes level appropriate teachings, attunements, manual, certificate and hands-on experience. Reiki attunements assist in aligning and amplifying our natural healing energies. We will discuss the history and origins of Reiki. Learn traditional techniques including Gassho, Reiji-Ho, Joshin Kokyuu (breathing, grounding, clearing), hand placement, self-healing and etiquette. Your attunement will include the first two symbols.

In this introductory class you will learn about the ancestral magic and traditional roots of Mexican Brujeria. Gain an understanding about how the Mexican people practice their traditional witchcraft, healing and who their main deities are. Ceci will share some basic ritual techniques and participate in a candle blessing ritual. The class will include the history of the Mexican people, ancestors, culture and their traditions before the arrival of the Spanish.

LIVING WITH RHYTHM DRUM PROGRAM

Think of how often we refer to a sense of rhythm that we experience in our lives in a figurative way. We say that we need to “slow down," or that we “skipped a beat," or that we didn’t feel like we were “in sync” or that we want to “march to the beat of our own drum!” A rhythm is controlled energy that fluctuates between action and inaction. When we create a rhythm we are creating an energy cycle. The cyclic nature of rhythm allows us to recognize what patterns are repeated in each of us and how do we change the patterns which aren’t harmonious or expend too much of my energy. Paying attention to our own inner rhythmic state and working in harmony with others literally recalibrates us. So come join Kevin and unwind, rejuvenate, centre yourself and explore rhythm literally and symbolically in an atmosphere of energy creation, sharing, and release.
