Internship - OJT Program

Welcome to KCA's On-the-Job Training Program!

Are you a second-year ITI student or a Graduate/Diploma holder in Fitting, Electronics, Welding, Electrical, or Instrumentation? Join KCA’s OJT program for hands-on experience, where you’ll work alongside industry professionals and gain practical skills to prepare for a successful career.

Location: Keltron Controls Aroor (KCA) Facilities

Eligibility: Open to second-year ITI students and Graduate/Diploma holders in relevant fields.

Program Features:

Hands-on Learning: Gain experience working on real-world projects with guidance from industry professionals.
Comprehensive Training: Learn about the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies used in your field.
Apprenticeship Opportunities: After successful completion of the OJT program, you may be eligible for apprenticeship opportunities with Keltron.

Program Details:

Selection Criteria:

ITI students must have passed all first-year subjects with a minimum of 60%.
Graduate/Diploma trainees may also be considered based on availability.
If applicants exceed available positions, selection will be conducted via a written test or interview, in coordination with the department head and KCA officials.

Duration: 90 days

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday,Sundays and public holidays are off.

Leave Eligibility:

OJT trainees are entitled to one day of leave per month, with prior approval from the department head.
Unused leave will not carry over, and excessive absence without permission may result in termination.

Termination/Discontinuation Procedure:

Termination by KCA:
Trainees may be terminated from the program for misconduct, unsatisfactory performance, or violation of KCA’s code of conduct. The trainee will be notified in writing, and termination will be effective immediately upon notice.
Discontinuation by Trainee:
Trainees wishing to discontinue the program must submit a written request to the department head at least one week prior to their intended discontinuation date. A formal exit process will be followed.

Other Details:

Canteen Facilities: Trainees will have access to KCA’s canteen facilities.
Registration Fees: No registration fees are required for ITI students.
