Lessons Learned

After completing a full semester in CSIT 101, I've learned the extensive measures that I should take to protect myself from a cyber security attack; such as using multi-factor authentication on my accounts, never click on a link in an email without hovering over it to see if the destination is correct, and to not give personal information out to an unsecured site. This course has also taught me how to access features in Microsoft Word such as bibliography/ citation generator, how to properly apply hierarchy through styles, and how to add headers and footers to my documents. I also used Excel for the first time during this semester and gained a better understanding of how to insert quick sum of numbers, filtering data, and how to insert functions. This course has prepared me for the digital world, and I feel better equipped to use all software more effectively.
