Research Interests
Mammals rely on their chemical senses (smell and taste) to interpret their surroundings and to communicate with other individuals. I want to understand how these senses shape decision-making processes. To investigate this, I am studying mammals whose ways of life, such as habitats and social systems, differ markedly from those of humans.
Keywords: Wildlife Biology, Behavioral Ecology, Chemical communication, Taste receptor, Fatty acids, milk, gland secretion
