天体プラズマの活動現象を空間・時間分解して観測できるユニークな天体、それが「太陽」です。太陽観測衛星ひので、SDO、IRISや地上望遠鏡DKISTなど最新の太陽観測データを使い、太陽大気中で磁場が生みだす様々な活動現象の研究を行なっています。次世代の観測装置と観測手法の開発も重要な研究テーマの一つです。今取り組んでいるのは気球実験SUNRISE-3と太陽観測衛星SOLAR-Cです。

研究の方針

• 観測データを駆使して、手の届かないところにある天体の物理状態を調べる

• 既存の観測データでできないことがあれば、新しい観測装置や解析手法を自ら作る

Our target is to study the mechanisms of plasma heating and dynamic phenomena produced by magnetic fields in the solar atmosphere using the data taken by state-of-the-art solar observations with HINODE, SDO, IRIS, and DKIST, etc. The development of new instruments and analysis techniques for future observations is also our target.
