The purpose of this page is to demonstrate my development of lessons to address all students as a result of my individualized plan of study. Attached will be demonstrations and explanations of examples of how I as an educator adapt lessons and make education more accessible.

When teaching any part of the curriculum, a teacher has a number of options on presenting the information. We have state standards we are responsible for meeting. In the attached document from CIME 670, a number of lessons are discussed as well as the type of learning they appeal to. Each is tied into the standards for WV.

All students have various strengths. We categorically consider students types of learning when lesson planning. The three major learning styles are kinesthetic, visual, and auditory. We try to appeal to each when lesson planning. In this assignment from CIME 670, we break down the types of learning and a variety of assignments which can meet these styles of learning.

When checking students understanding, educators have a number of options. Teachers typically use a number of formative assessments before providing a summative assessment.
