I couldn't be more happy to say that I have chosen to continue my academic and athletic career at North Carolina State University next fall. I am confident that all of my extra curricular activities in high school, and in life have prepared me well for what is to come.

From running, to traveling, volunteering, and just enjoying the great adventures of lake life I cannot wait to take all that I have learned and apply it to eventually achieving my dreams of becoming an equine veterinarian. However with the resilience, and determination all of these activities have taught me; I know that even if animal science isn't the field for me, I will find something that I love just as much. 

So  my advice to anyone who doesn't know where to start is to reach out. Meet people with different backgrounds, and learn everything you can. Dive into different cultures, and ways of life because that's the only way you will truly know what you want to do in the future. I still have much more to learn, but with all running, traveling, volunteering, and living on a lake has taught me I am assured that I have prepared for my future. #gopack
