This 2A project combined Mississippi State University's second year Architecture students and 2nd year Building Construction Science students in the design and production of a bench for the Starkville, MS community. 

In our group of 14 students, my design was selected for fabrication, and I was nominated as general contractor for the fabrication steps of this project.

My eye’s were opened with a real world example of the designing and building process as we worked with a budget, shop drawings, and RFIs. My communication skills were stretched as I communicated with both client and builders.
