Micro-learning & Multimedia
Microlearning and multimedia allow learning experiences to be delivered in short, focused formats that meet learners where they are- whether on mobile devices or simply within the flow of work. These projects demonstrate my ability to design concise, engaging learning experiences that combine instructional strategy with interactive media, video, and storytelling. Each example highlights different tools and approaches used to create accessible, meaningful learning moments.

Microlearning Experiences
Operation Learning Secrets
Created as a team-building microlearning activity, Operation: Learning Secrets uses a retro 1990s mission-style theme inspired by classic spy interfaces. Participants act as agents tasked with uncovering “classified” facts about their colleagues by analyzing clues and selecting the correct matches.
The experience was designed to encourage camaraderie among team members while experimenting with interactive design features such as point tracking, branching feedback, and a leaderboard system within Storyline. The playful mission structure transforms a simple icebreaker into a memorable interactive learning experience.
The game includes multiple interactive “fact file” challenges and a final riddle that learners must solve to complete the mission.

Creative Problem-Solving Dojo
This mobile-friendly microlearning game challenges learners to strengthen their creative problem-solving skills through a short, interactive experience inspired by a martial arts dojo. Players encounter scenarios that require flexible thinking and strategic decision-making while progressing through the challenge.
Designed for quick engagement on mobile devices, the activity demonstrates how game mechanics- such as challenges, progression, and feedback- can be used to reinforce learning concepts in a short, focused format.

Multimedia Learning Videos
This animated video introduces learners to the importance of data literacy within an organizational environment. Designed as the opening for a Workday Data Literacy course, the video helps learners understand how data informs decisions and why interpreting it correctly is critical.
Using a simple narrative and practical examples, the video illustrates the difference between seeing data and understanding its meaning—encouraging learners to move beyond the “what” of numbers to consider the “so what” behind them.

In this presentation-style video, I explore how immersive learning experiences—such as simulations, scenario-based learning, and virtual environments—can enhance workplace training. I narrate the video while presenting design strategies that help ensure immersive experiences are effective and aligned with learning goals.
The video highlights key design considerations including setting clear learner-centered objectives, preparing learners to use immersive technology, and designing authentic environments that increase engagement and retention.
