Teaching Resources

One of my strengths as a teacher is my digital literacy & technology skills. I routinely use Google, Microsoft, and Apple apps to create material & resources for learners, as well as outside platforms such as Canva, Flipgrid, and Padlet. During the multiple periods of Distance Learning from 2020, I also took on creating a dashboard for daily / weekly assignments, schedules for individual teachers, and digital notebooks for learners to work on.

As a team member, my organisational skills have always been valued; from creating unit overviews to planning templates, I make sure there are documents and files ready to streamline the planning process for the team. Some of the documents I've created have also been used for school-wide alignment.

Below, I've divided some examples into 4 categories: scaffolds, planning, assessments, and distance learning. If you see something that you can use in your practice, please feel free to make a copy and edit as you see fit!

Learning Scaffolds

These are made with multilingual learners in mind while recognising that good practice for MLs is good practice for ALL students.

Planning & Organisation

These documents have been used to plan units and lessons as well as to keep notes during team planning meetings, communicating with families, and preparing for conferences.

Assessments

Rubrics, assessment guides, and data recording sheets - some are very specific to the units I've taught in the past but most can be used as a template for different genre / topics.

Distance Learning

While I hope we do not have to go back to DL any time soon, these documents helped teachers and learners to stay on track with DL.
